Infomercial host pleads guilty to Mass. fraud (AP)

BOSTON - a man of Massachusetts, known for his infomercials touting the benefits for the Greens and coral calcium alleged health Supreme pleaded guilty to tax and consumer fraud charges.

Federal prosecutors say that Donald Barrett of Plymouth pleaded guilty Monday for failing to report the $573,000 income from one of the products, he sold the television and marketing of a product touted as the prevention of cancer and arthritis without the approval of the Food and Drug Administration.

The 36-year-old Barrett faces up to three years in prison in the sentencing scheduled for July 27. Salem News reports that it is supposed to only receive one year under the terms of a plea agreement.

Barrett and his lawyer declined to comment after the Court.
